James Rosowsky

Founder and CEO

Hailing from a small town in East Central Saskatchewan, James brings nearly two decades of experience in business, real estate, and construction. He has a proven track record of assembling teams and establishing processes that foster growth and innovation.
In his earlier career, James first pursued his passion as a full-time musician before transitioning to become a business lawyer. James’ diverse interests have allowed him to develop valuable skills in web development, online systems, building design, and construction management.
With a strong entrepreneurial spirit, James ventured into the prefab industry in 2013 with Karoleena Homes. As CEO, he adeptly expanded the company until its acquisition by Horizon North Manufacturing in 2016.
In 2019, James founded Built Prefab, where he remains committed to building a team and cultivating a company that can effectively achieve its mission. His multifaceted background and leadership qualities make James a versatile and dynamic force in the industry.

Ian Garrity

Co-Founder and President

Ian was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA and has been involved in development and construction for more than 10 years. Ian got his start with the Parec-Cyma Group and then gained significant experience in Project Management overseeing multi-million dollar custom site-built residential construction, and was subsequently a Project Manager on the BP Amoco Deepwater Horizon litigation in the US. Ian moved to Canada in 2006 and was one of the developers and co-founders of the Nowhere Special bar and hotel at Red Mountain in Rossland, BC. In 2015, Ian began his career in prefab and modular construction, first as a Project Manager at Karoleena Homes based in Okanagan Falls, BC and then later in Business Development for the San Francisco based high end modular startup Dvele. Ian’s skills include sales and project management, real estate, business organization and communication, among others. His modus operandi is to make sure that no detail is left unconsidered.

Clarissa Lee

Director of Finance

Clarissa is a CPA, CA with nearly 20 years of diverse experience in the finance sector across Canada. Her background spans external auditing for both private and public companies, including thorough experience in construction accounting.
Known for her exceptional communication skills and compassionate nature, Clarissa is committed to delivering top-notch, service-oriented work. She has held positions at BDO Canada LLP, Grant Thornton LLP, MNP Ltd., PwC LLP, and KPMG LLP, showcasing her ability to maintain tact, discretion, and diplomacy.
Clarissa earned her Bachelor of Management Degree from the University of Lethbridge and completed her Chartered Accountant designation through the CA School of Business. A dedicated professional, she is a member in good standing with the Institute of Chartered Accountants and serves as a mentor for aspiring CPAs.

Josh Pozzobon

Lead Architectural Designer

Josh was born in Richmond, BC and was raised in Keremeos, BC, a small town in the southern interior. Josh has been involved in the construction and design industry since 2016, originally starting out as a labourer/builder in highschool, giving him a strong working knowledge of construction and what goes into building a home.
Josh has been with Built Prefab since 2020 and is well versed in 3D design software, such as Sketchup, Lumion, ChiefArchitect, Enscape, AutoCAD
and Revit. Josh graduated in 2019 from Thompson Rivers University with a Diploma in Architectural Engineering and Technology, and added a Bachelor’s Degree the following year.
Josh has grand plans for the future, eventually wanting to get his Masters Degree in Architecture and becoming a certified Architect.
Josh is a hard worker who carefully thinks through problems and is comfortable adapting to the situation.

Keely Watts-Watling

Customer Care Manager and Marketing Manager

Keely is a highly motivated professional with a strong background in customer service and a commitment to continuous learning. Born and raised in Kelowna, she has an impressive history as a national heptathlete in track and field, showcasing her determination and perseverance. Keely was awarded the distinction of Kelowna Female Athlete of the Year in 2013.
Keely holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialization in finance from Okanagan College. With valuable experience in the automotive sector, Keely has honed her management and communication skills. In the role of Customer Care at Built Prefab, she eagerly applies her expertise in a dynamic industry, overseeing customer reporting, warranty, and managing the company’s social media presence. Keely embraces challenges and is driven by her passion for providing exceptional customer experiences and her ambition to excel in the construction field.
